CASE STUDY:
Music Management
IDENTITY + WEBSITE DESIGN
Identity + Website Design
Music Management provides immediate access to hundreds of professional musicians screened for talent, presentation and dependability. Their performers include the region’s most acclaimed dance bands, disc jockeys and award-winning music ensembles. They offer personal service and a seamless process from sale through execution, drawing on extensive knowledge gained from 30 years of creatively curating and managing engaging experiences.
Their current website did not represent or communicate all their vast experience or service offerings. It was not organized in a way that was helpful to the user/customer to find their way to the most relevant information to them.
OBJECTIVES:
Increase conversions and sales
Convey the variety and quality of their product and service offerings
Visually convey the creativity and energy that they bring to their clients through the entire sales process
Show that they value-add beyond just booking entertainment, they consult and advise creatively as well as offer supporting services like light and sound design
Create a shopping cart experience for building an inquiry list of artists/entertainment options
Modernize the site to responsive design
Create a layout and system that is modular and can be updated by the client
SOLUTIONS:
Create multiple pathways for users to find what is most relevant to their inquiry
Simplify the search and sort process by creating categories that focus on mood and activity, in order to suggest similar artists with an interactive menu
Highlight the variety and quality of their product and service offerings through detailed sample programs based on previous events
Add social media feeds to increase social proof, conversions, and sales

Process
Research + Strategy
Starting with a competitive analysis and site audit, we identified the key elements and specific components we wanted to focus on, using the research and business goals to define a creative brand strategy.
Brand Development
Using the research and agreed upon brand strategy, three conceptual design directions were created. Development of chosen design direction into logo system library and brand identity items such as business cards and social media graphics.
UX + Web Design
Used MM customer profile data to define user profiles and journeys. Organized the content and pathways to help the user better accomplish their task and/or end goals.
